SharePoint Developer
Jacobs is looking for a SharePoint Developer to perform SharePoint 2013 portal development, implementation, and content and site management as needed in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), J62 Cybersecurity Division. This includes automating training management and scheduling processes and building management level dashboards (with Cyber operations metrics tracking to include authority to operate (ATO) and authority to connect (ATC) requests), business intelligence objects, and custom web parts.
Specific Responsibilities of Development:
Performs full lifecycle development of portal solutions including planning, prototyping, developing, deploying, and maintaining dashboards, web parts, and applications
Interacts regularly with government leaders and key contractor personnel to gather and assess requirements and design solutions
Reviews database fields, views and tables to determine how to connect or export to and interpret data for inclusion in dashboards, web parts and applications
Can make full use of existing tools and capabilities to develop high quality, professional dashboards, arranged to collate and display data to facilitate decision-making
Recommends new or revised methods and tools to meet or exceed dashboard requirements
Implements and supports content management functions utilizing the Information Management Plan and USSOCOM SOCS-KM portal policies and guidance
Develops technical and end-user documentation to support developed processes and applications
Required Skills:
Demonstrates proven expertise with SharePoint 2013 portal development, dashboard design, taxonomy, and content management
Demonstrates experience and expertise using portal development tools in, but not limited to: JQuery, Node.js, Bootstrap, AngularJS, React, TypeScript, Knockout, Handlebars.js and object models to include JSON, CSOM and REST
Has working knowledge of: Web Services, XML, SharePoint Designer, SQL Server 2012
Has basic knowledge of standard debugging tools and SCRUM/Agile development
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to work with others to reach mutually agreed upon solutions
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to influence consensus and agreement
Solid written and verbal communications skills
Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of government and contractor individuals at all levels
Ability to work pro-actively and autonomously; self-starter
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance
Required Certifications: DoD 8570 Certification - IAT II within 6 months of hire
Preferred Certifications: MCSA-Web Applications

Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.
Work Environment:
Work will be performed in a cubical environment inside a large facility.
Equipment and Machines:
General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance:
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).
