Up for auction is a fully restored Pioneer CT-F1000 stereo cassette deck from around 1978-79. The cosmetics are very nice with a newly powder coated exterior cover that's a super upgrade from the dull flat black Pioneer used back then. The edges of the face plate have some marks from the rack mounts that were there at some point. The rest of the face plate is nice and clean and freshly polished. Interior work performed was a complete upgrade of all the electrolytic capacitors......there's at least 150 individual parts there. The transport was serviced with motor overhauls and new belts and idler tires. Both pinch rollers were replaced with new rubber as well. The fast wind modes are super smooth and fast and the speed is dead on. The VU meters have new bulbs that are brighter than the original lamps. The unit was then calibrated all all modes of recording checked out. This model is also the multi-voltage version (more desirable) I offer a restoration service for this model on a separate auction if you have one that needs work. Auction also includes a spiral bound reproduction of the owner's and service manuals. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. I ship the same day or next and pack well for transit.
